Afternoon Muse is a serene wool appliqué project inspired by the gentle charm of the Erie Canal — complete with a quaint canal boat and a cascade of bright, blooming wildflowers. Whether or not you hum “Low Bridge, Everybody Down…” while you stitch is entirely up to you.
At the heart of the design is a classic canal barge nestled among golden yellow daisies, blue starbursts, and clusters of purple berries accented with glass beads. Prefer a floral-only layout?
